Introduction	We are a group of MA students from the Bread Loaf School of English working with Robert Stepto to create a textual community around his book, A HOME ELSEWHERE: Reading African American Classics in the Age of Obama. One of the things we love about this book is the way it engages readers in a discussion of race and identity rooted in many African American classics and extending to Obama's Dreams from My Father.
