| Introduction | thelimegate started in the mid-1990s when I was asked to make some dresses for a friend and that led to evening dresses and bridesmaids' dresses, for family, my sister-in-law's wedding dress and more. I have been dressmaking for myself, and my family, since my mother taught me to sew as a child. The first bridal party I made dresses for was for my own wedding, my mother and I made my dress and the bridesmaid's dresses, quite a while ago!
