| Introduction | We met in fall 2002 at our alma mater thanks to two special friends (and Ryan's whole fraternity) who knew we'd be perfect together. We married in 2010 and are now living just outside of DC with our sweet and silly two-year-old son. I don't claim to be an expert at anything, but I have a lot of interests and hopefully some of you will be interested in these things too! What you are most likely to see here will be posts about: my family and me; couponing (who knew I would learn to love a hobby that actually saves us money?!); fibromyalgia and all of the weird things that come with it like gluten-free and potato-free cooking (that's right, I can't eat white potatoes. Sad.); emergency preparedness (I am an aspiring prepper even though we live in an urban apartment and have no skills); my brown thumb and our sad balcony garden (if I can do it, you can do it!); and, our environment (my work has to sneak in here somehow).
