| Introduction | I am a science teacher at Tippecanoe Middle School in Tipp City, Ohio. In addition to teaching, I am the coordinator for the Girls in Science Club, the Outdoor Club, the Garden Club and Science Fair Coordinator. For twelve years I was a research scientist at the Sea Turtle and Fisheries Ecology Research Lab at Texas A&M University studying endangered Kemp's ridley sea turtles. Prior to that I worked as a biologist for the US Fish and Wildlife Service and The Nature Conservancy along the East Coast conducting sea turtle nesting research and preserving bird nesting habitat. |
