Surviving on Humanity
| Introduction | My name is Tom Hernandez and I do not trust the world. I am setting out to prove myself wrong. I do not pretend to know much about the world (i.e. politics, economics, etc.) but I do know that none of it matters much. I have a daughter who will one day walk this earth without her parents and I fear for her. So here is what I am going to do about it. I am going to attempt to travel the entire world (all seven continents) without spending a single penny. Thats right. The only way I will survive is by the hand of human kindness. I will be allowed to work but only for progress towards my goal, not for money. I can only spend two weeks per continent. I can not accept ANY help form companies or corporations. The only help I am allowed to accept is from actual human beings. I am allowed to take a backpack filled with ice water, canned goods, a leatherman, id and passport, phone with internet and charger, and one hundred dollars in emergency cash in case humanity lets me down. Imagine crowd surfing on a global scale. I hope for our sake that this works. |
