| Introduction | Hi, I've ben sewing since before I can remember, and quilting seriously since 1994 (though my first quilt was made in 1983 during a spell of unemployment in Connecticut). I did parts I and II City and Guilds in Derby and then joined the TextileARTS group based in the UK. I've been lucky enough to travel with my husband and his job over the years, staying in Connecticut (1983-6), Toulouse (1992-6) and Montreal (2007-11). My husband has now retired, and we're are happily living back in the UK, with frequent trips away, especially to our house in the South-west of France. Quilting has been a wonderful method of meeting people over the years, and the many quilting groups I've joined around the world have all been testament to this. |
