| Introduction | I grew up in a small town in northwest Ohio. After my first study abroad experience in Florence, Italy, I continued to seek learning opportunities through cross-cultural experiences. I spent a summer living in Cameroon and have traveled to several parts of Europe. After graduating from the University of Dayton (B.A., English/Education), I taught middle school reading classes at Red Cloud Indian School in Pine Ridge, South Dakota. Since receiving my M.A. in English from The University of South Dakota, I have taught English/Literature courses at Defiance College (Defiance, OH), State Fair Community College (Sedalia, MO), and Colorado Mountain College (Glenwood Springs, CO). |
