| Introduction | Somehow, I am 37 now and have two young boys. I truly (absurdly?) thought I would remember all the details about their lives without a written or video record. The other day I realized that I cannot picture Jack without hearing his voice as it is now. In my memories, even as a baby, he's telling me, "Mommy, you have to take a deep breath..." Because, hasn't he always talked?? I want my sons to have a record of the ways they inspire me, their family and friends. And the adventures we go on together. And the boring things we do together. And the just okay activities, too. |
