Introduction	When I first came to college in 2005, I had no idea what to expect. Being that college is a total change from high school, I think it's safe to say that most students found the transition a bit unpredictable. However, I knew one thing for sure. College life was going to be different for me. I am 21 years-old and being diagnosed with epilepsy at age 12 changed my life for a variety of reasons. Battling epilepsy while being away from home was the biggest challenge of all. With this blog, I want to enlighten others who are and will be going through this tough but manageable battle. I also want to reach out to parents who have children that have epilepsy, as well. This blog is going to explain and analyze the encounters I have been through during college and my life, and also a place to just share my thoughts. I hope this helps remind others with epilepsy that they are not alone.
Interests	Going to the gym, staying active, reading, writing, spending time with my friends and family
Favorite movies	Titanic, The Holiday, The Notebook, Mean Girls, Sex and the City, and much more.
Favorite music	Mostly pop music, but I will usually listen to anything.
