About me

Location New York City
Introduction I'm a musician and arts administrator, a New Yorker transplanted from Los Angeles, who has had the very good fortune to live and play French horn in Chicago, Berlin, Tel Aviv, Boston, and New York. As the Director of Community & Education at the Orchestra of St. Luke's in NYC, I oversee community and education programs for the extraordinary musicians of OSL. A former Sistema Fellow at the New England Conservatory, I have been immersed in exploring the phenomenon of youth orchestras in Venezuela known as El Sistema, as a vehicle for social change. I moonlight as a yoga instructor, play guitar and sing in a rock band, and facilitate TEDxNewYork salons. And sometimes I tag along with my jazz bassist husband on his tours to exotic places (like Ulm, Germany).
