| Introduction | Welcome to our blog. My name is Amy. We are a family of 5. Jeff and I and 3 girls; Jenna 14, Mikayla 10, and Haley 7. Jeff is a realtor and a pastor. We moved to Iowa 10 years ago to "plant" a new church. We moved here with our family and didn't have any idea who would be in our church, where we would live, or where this church would even meet to worship. After lots of blood, sweat and tears we have finally accomplished building Phase 1 of Heartland Community Church. The church has grown now to about 200 people. It keeps us very very busy. I (Amy)have my teaching degree but have chosen to work elsewhere to have have a more healthy family life. I work part time for the church as an office administrator and also part time for our churches new Childcare Center...Corridor Christian Early Learning Center. I am blessed by God to have a wonderful family, a great church, and a super job. I hope that every once in awhile you can log on to catch up with us on this journey called "life."
