| Introduction | Stephanie Swanson is a nurse/writer/grandmother/public nuisance who lives with a neurotic dog, four chickens, an ungrateful cat, and Jerry--whom she has loved for a thousand years. Stephanie is the matriarch to three awesome adults, two sons in love and gramma to six impressionable wizards. Stephanie is the author of several magazine articles forgotten years ago and contributor to a nursing magazine with a subscription base of seven readers. Stephanie comes from a family of creatively insane people who, if they don't kill themselves with drugs and alcohol, are often rescued in their garage with the doors closed and the motor running. The families only claim to fame is her father beat up Del Shannon before he became famous. Stephanie often wonders if Del is her real father. If only-- When not working her day job, she can be found writing in a journal, contemplating the mystery of feminine odor protection, or in some third world country meditating, doing hallucinogens and sipping on tap water. Stephanie's bucket list includes being arrested for something fun, participating in a bar fight, tattooing some gang bangers name on her neck, and running for public office |
