| Introduction | I am the baby sister of an older brother. My father was a policeman for more than 32 years. My mother was a homemaker. My family traveled the U.S. with my extended family and saw some amazing sights while in my younger years. My heart is filled with fond memories of these trips, fun family traditions, and silly childhood games played with cousins! Education is important to me. After graduating from High School I began (within days) taking classes at a nearby junior college to expedite my transfer to Brigham Young University. I attended BYU until Jakob's birth when I decided that being a mommy was my calling in life. I value education and plan to finish my Bachelors degree when all the kids are in school. I would like to become a teacher specializing in reading. I also plan to devote some time while the kids are in school to pursuing my dream of becoming a children's book author. |
| Interests | First and foremost... I LOVE BEING A MOM!!! I love to write, to make quilts for family and friends (maybe I could make one for you), to help out at the kids schools, to throw parties, to make crafts, to bake, to read, and to be with my family. I love to serve in the community; I was the leader of a support group for Single and Pregnant young women, I coach youth girls basketball, I work with local media doing public relations for our church, and have tutored kids at reading. I love holiday traditions and doing anonymous acts of service. A dream of mine is to one day be an author of children's books (we have quite a library of our own). I love being at home with the kids, greeting them when they arrive from school and never worrying about missing all the important events and even the day to day developments. I wouldn't want it any other way. Truly the only thing I wish is that there were more sweet children with which we could share this enormous amount of love we posses! |
