| Introduction | My journey started New Year's Eve 2013 when I was diagnosed with breast cancer in my left breast. I started writing posts in Facebook for friends and family to keep up with how I was feeling and handling the treatment. I also wanted to share and educate, and also it helped me to process. I was very open and honest with my feelings, my faith, my thoughts and concerns, my highs and lows. It is now 2015 and I have had a recurrence. I feel it is time to put my journey out there a bit further than friends and family. There are so many blogs and information about breast cancer, so I might not be able to add too much more, but this is my story, my journey, and if i can help one, just one, then I too have been given a purpose in amongst this crazy disease that does not discriminate. September 2016 scans show more cancer so not looking good. Treatable but not curable so a whole new journey is before me. |
