| Introduction | (In your best Paula Dean voice:) Hey Y'all! I'm Megs. I am a new wifey and a new mommy and this blog is my opportunity to "talk" to "real" grown-ups during the day. Well, actually, it's my attempt to document my adventures in marriage and motherhood. I'm admittedly unorganized and random. Undoubtedly, these traits will shape this blog, but I'll do my best to minimize the chaos---err, I'll do my as-much-as-I-feel-like-at-the-time-damnit to minimize the chaos. | Favorite Movies | Since I'm a 30-Something Caucasian American Female, obviously my favorite movie is Amelie. I love Buster Keaton, Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, and James Stewart movies. Some movies I've seen more than I care to admit: Grease (1 AND 2--oops), Flashdance, Pretty In Pink, Better Off Dead, An Affair To Remember, Vivacious Lady, The Jerk... I don't feel like listing all my favorites anymore... ;) |
| Favorite Music | I have bipolar taste in music. From Hank Williams, Sr. and Willi Nelson to Elvis and Ella, to Nicki Minaj and Kanye West, to Gossip and Detroit Cobras. I like it if I can: 1. Sing it loudly in the shower 2. Sing it drunkenly at karaoke 3. Sing it softly to my son 4. Stomp my foot, slap my knee and/or 5. Dance like I'm having a somewhat rhythmic seizure |
