| Introduction | 1. I'm a Scientist 2. I use Linux Because of 2 I get myself into trouble on a regular basis, and because of 1 I like publishing the solutions to my trouble. I also feel that a fair number of guides online skip steps that aren't always obvious or contain ambiguous language. Forums can be scary places as well (why do some people make it a sport to insult other people instead of just shutting up?) so the more easy-to-follow instructions that can be put online, the better. This should explain the focus of the blog posts. |
