About me

Gender Male
Industry Technology
Occupation Network Security Geek
Location Ontario, Canada
Introduction Ted was born at a very early age. Blessed with a dominant mutant Geek gene, he established himself as "the nerdy kid" immediately upon starting school; all were quick to realize that Ted didn’t just think outside the box, he didn’t even know there was a box. In later years, he discovered amateur radio, electronics and finally, computers. At the tender age of 12 Ted purchased his first computer, eventually embarking on his adventure in information security at the age of 15. In 2001, after relinquishing his eye teeth and first born, he was transferred to a government CIRT; after just 4 months on the job, Ted had the title of “Big Giant Head” (en français - “Tête de Melon d’Eau”) conferred upon him by his peers as the result of his infosec expertise and the fact his brain is hung like a horse. His most recent do is having been voted “Best Looking Man in a Kilt” by the woman’s auxiliary of the CNIB; he currently resides in Southern Ontario with his two cats & case of Keith's.
