Introduction	Hello! My name is Jolene and I am a 38 year-old mother to five amazing kids between the ages of 4 and 18. I work as a high school English teacher as well. A life-long lover of sports and fitness, I was devastated when I tore my anterior crucial ligament (ACL) and meniscus in November. I've vacillated between panic at the thought of being laid up for several months and an actual depression as I've battled the physical and mental effects of not being active. I decided to create this blog as an act of accountability and also as a way for people I love, people I know, and people who may find something interesting here to track my progress.
