| Introduction | A college educated, married mom of 2, I enjoy writing, music, cooking, eating, reading, & prank calling my mother. A child of the Pacific Northwest, I passed my youth in Oklahoma where I developed a talent for speaking Twang & discovered the tastiness of the hushpuppy...the food, not the snappy shoe brand. And because I have spent lots of time with my foot in my mouth, I can assure you they taste quite different. My husband is the Brave Little Toaster of my life who valiantly supports me in my insanity, because, as I frequently remind him, I'm delightful! He is in truth one of the best people I have ever known; though, as we approach our 20th anniversary, he still cannot read my mind with more than 32% accuracy. Just as well. My son & first born is an even-keeled, easy-to-love boy. All he wants is a good light saber fight to start the day. My daughter is in all ways my mother's ultimate revenge. She has finally clarified for me why Rapunzel's sage parents built the tower & hired the witch. I love her dearly. May you ever enjoy the mishmash of musings & meditations from my manic microcosm. |
