| Introduction | Jack Morris was a law enforcement officer and an administrator in the Justice system for nearly 30 years. He retired from the California Department of Justice. He concluded his justice system career while serving as Director, Intelligence Division, Queensland Criminal Justice Commission, Queensland, Australia. He is the author of several law enforcement books used extensively in police academies and has served as consultant to agencies across the United States, the U.K., and in Australia. He is the author of four other eBooks published in 2011. They are Chasing the Don (The exploits of one policeman’s war on Organized Crime), Mukhtar Mai (Pakistan’s first lady and her education of girls), and My War: Korea (The author’s battle front experiences during the first year of the Korean War) and Intelligence (A collection of short articles on the use, abuse, and misuse of intelligence by police administrators, government officials, and military leaders). He and his wife, Freda, live in the Gold Country of California. |
