| Interests | I am 27 years old and currently in Adelphi’s School Psychology Program. During the week, I work as a teacher assistant at Tutor time and teach students from ages 6-12. I was a substitute teacher for three years at a school district that I attended. I have strong passion for working with students. My goal as a school psychologist is to help students who have learning difficulties and who face life challenges become successful. Teachers need to learn that not every child can be a “star student.” Some students just need to hear words of encouragement and be given support from a teacher in order for them to have a successful school experience. There are many hurting children who slip between the cracks of the education system and I believe that school professionals and family members can help these children discover their potential for a better, brighter future." |
| Favorite Music | I love listening to Contemporary Christian music and Gospel. Sometimes I like to listen to R &B music and hip hop. In general, I love to hear music that has a positive message and purpose for hearing it. |
