| Introduction | It all started when I was six years old. My love for food that is. Mom put me to cooking school and by the age of seven I was prepping my own meals. Or, perhaps we'd rather call them independent attempts of meal prepping. Anyhow, I have a long history in the kitchen and know a trick or two. I love to spoil my husband with some good food and share a box of cottage cheese with my dog every morning (it's safe to say we're obsessed). Because I love to eat, I've also learnt to love to move. I tried all sorts of sports from basketball to cross country skiing, gymnastics to horse riding but finally found I was best built for running and lifting weights at the gym. I write about food, exercising, my life as the wife of a professional ice hockey player and career focused young woman, a combination that can be challenging but also so rewarding at the same time! |
