Introduction I am a retired business executive who majored in Industrial Design at DAAP at The University of Cincinnati. My working career was, for the most part, in industrial sales (I was a manufacturer's representative with my own company) of engineered heat processing equipment for the metalworking industry. I retired in 2000 to devote my time to making art and attended the Cincinnati Art Academy to renew my art skills. Today, I am an exhibiting artist in Cincinnati with a one-man show in 2010; For ten years I taught watercolor painting at the Baker-Hunt Art and Cultural Center to adults; For the last six years I have taught courses at the Oscher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of Cincinnati. The current course is titled "Art of Our Time, the Modern and Contemporary". I have been asked to judge several major art exhibitions and to provide lectures to various groups on aspects of art history.
Interests Making art (abstract and surrealistic images in acrylic and watercolor), visiting art museums and openings, art collecting, teaching art history at the OLLI at The University of Cincinnati, travel with my wife of 48 years, spending time with my children and grand children. I also attempt to play golf.
