Introduction	Hi. My name is Maria Goodman, and I write this blog. I live in a suburb just east of Seattle but was born and raised in New York State. Although my degree from SUNY Stony Brook is in the sciences, I was always a doodler and artist. After my kids were born and my career in geology was at a standstill, I decided to go back to school for art and design. I'm so glad I did. Now my work at the King County Library System allows me time for the best of both worlds...a creative outlet and enjoyable problem solving. Thanks so much for stopping by.
