| Introduction | I have been involved in education for 33 years, first as a teacher for 27 years, then as administrator for the past 6 1/2. I retired at the end of September 2011 because an opportunity to travel to the UAE came up, but after spending about 3 weeks there, I decided it was not for me. I had started the Superintendent Certification Program last August, but dropped when I went overseas. Now I am back and ready to tackle this course and see where the next part of my career will lead me. I taught in Ohio, Venezuela, Montana and Van Horn, Texas before settling in El Paso, TX in 1990. I worked in the Socorro ISD for 21 years. |
