| Introduction | Margaritas, mothering and the military... sounds like a combination for failure and heartache with a twinkle of glory mixed in for fun. Believe you me, there has been a good blend of it all in my life. Things from how I got the nickname Margarita to my preferred self evaluation technique I have used over and over with junior soldiers. I have learned so many lessons from being in the military but nothing really began to sink in till I had my daughter. For this reason I will undoubtedly share some of the life lessons through mothering. Military and mothering both masked a calling I have had most of my life but always avoided. I have begun to embrace that calling and can't wait to share what denying religion and embracing relationship has meant for my life. In this blog I will touch on all areas of my life and how I have learned to live life always looking to lead, not be lead.
