| Introduction | I am one of you. I am a citizen of the United States of America. My grandparents and ancestors were immigrants. They looked for personal freedom and liberty from oppresive government. Twenty years or so ago I took up an interest in reading and learning about the constitution, the framers of our nation and the history that they put in motion. I've learned to cherish the miracle it has been. And as of the past decade or two, I've realized how we all have fallen prey to divisive and unconstructive arguments while the orchestrators of it all slowly take control of every aspect of our lives. We participate in it by allowing ourselves to enter the debate of left vs right; progressive vs conservative; "R" vs "D". Did not our Founders warn us this would happen? I seek to understand the fundamental mindset of our culture that allows us to aquaice to this deception propogated by party politics. I seek to understand and then inspire others to stop participating and see things as they are...a divided culture played by the hands of a soft tyranny. I am like you. I want to restore our republic.
