| Introduction | I grew up in a middle class family with three siblings. My early years were tough, littered with stuff that resulted in behaviors related to low self-esteem. After school, I became an elementary school teacher. I loved it. For the first time, I felt good about myself. Later, as training manager for a Better Homes and Gardens company, I provided the corporate educational programs. Eventually I began my own business, which I still own. I work with corporate and women's groups focusing on goals & communication skills. In 1988, I married a wonderful man & together we started two successful businesses. I finally graduated college in 2001. Victorious Woman! is my first book. In it, I tell the stories of nine women - no "tah-dah" snippets, but hard truths. I also have a workbook & am working on my next book. I love when someone tells me that my book or speaking was the catalyst that spured her to BE MORE of who she really is.
