About me

Industry Museums or Libraries
Occupation Librarian, retired
Location United States
Introduction Preferring truth to custom, the better to the good, adapt to adopt, reform to revolution, solutions to goals, knowledge to awareness, faith to spirituality. The rules.
Interests After I received an MLS from the University of Illinois, I worked in Slavic Studies at the U of I and Ohio State. I stopped working to raise my children, and then returned with part time and temporary contracts in a variety of subject fields at The Ohio State University Libraries including agriculture, user education and Latin American Studies. In 1986 I settled into a wonderful tenure track position in the OSU Veterinary Medicine Library and retired as Associate Professor in 2000. Now I spend my time writing, painting and reading. My adult children live near-by. Life is good!
Favorite Books I like non-fiction and magazines and read them more than books. I love encyclopedias and dictionaries!
