| Introduction | By way of introduction, I decided to start this blog because I love pole and I love writing about it. In my "real" life, I'm a wife, mother of 2 beautiful children, and a doctor who takes care of women with high-risk pregnancies (disclaimer: nothing I say on this blog should be interpreted as medical advice!!). In my other life, I'm a pole junkie. I started pole dancing/fitness about 3 years ago while trying to find a fun way to get back in shape after I had my second child. Since then, I've pretty much been hooked. I enjoy writing and sharing my experience in the world of pole. My two favorite things about pole are 1) it shows us that we can do things we never thought we'd be able to do and 2) gives our bodies a way to communicate to ourselves that we are strong, sensual, powerful creatures.
