| Introduction | Two Ipoh-ans who share a taste for Ipoh white coffee, dancing, talking (especially about Malaysia)and having strong opinions. Met in college during the first year of law and spent a lot of time talking, taking long lunch breaks and pigging out on mamak food after jogs. Decided to go to a UK university for the final year and bonded even more over travel and accommodation plans. Discovered our love and patriotism towards Malaysia when we arrived in the UK, which increased after the recent elections. Spent hours refreshing the Malaysiakini page to get the updates on election results. Spent even longer discussing our grievances (ISA still around) and joy (Perak taken by the opposition!) about Malaysia. Proud to be known as Malaysians and not as a China-Chinese or an India-Indian! |
