Introduction	I think a storm is heading in. Yes, did you hear that rumble of low, ominous thunder? It puts me in the mood for some hot tea; would you care to join me? I hope you don't mind antique, chipped cups. Here, let me give you a few homemade, chocolate chip cookies also and we'll watch the rain come in from my living room. Yes, this couch is old and it is stuffed with feathers. How observant of you. Wow, that was a close one, it shook the house. I'm going to light a candle in case the lights go out. It smells like lilacs and settles the nerves. Curling up with a book and getting lost in a romance sounds like a good idea, if only for a little while. Would you like a book too? Here, take this one. It's called Those Who Wait. It's a ghost story I wrote and perfect for the occasion, wouldn't you say? Of course, you can cover up with my grandmother's quilt, don't be silly. The storms are bringing in a bit of a chill. It's all about being cozy and warm. Oh, yes, as far as the creaks you hear, it's simply my old house settling. Or, so I tell myself when I'm all alone.
