| Introduction | My name is Joy, and I am a stay-at-home mom of two very sweet girls – Brooklyn who is 2 and Madelyn who is 7 months. I have a degree in Family and Child Development and have always loved being around children and teaching them. I worked as a full-time nanny for many years for several different families before having my own children and loved teaching each one of them. Now that my oldest little girl is 2 years old, I have started teaching her the same way I taught many other children – using the alphabet as my guide. I love gathering new ideas from various websites, books, friends, and my own imagination and compiling them into simple daily lesson plans. I am starting this blog to keep track of the ideas that I have found and to share with others who may want a guide to teaching their own children. |
