Introduction	This is my story and I'm sticking to it! J. D. Webb (Dave) resides in Forsyth, Illinois with his wife of over 40 years and their toy poodle, Ginger. Writing has been a life-long interest and I became a full-time author in 2001. I spent four years in the Security Service of the Air Force serving fifteen months in the Philippines and a short stint in Viet Nam in 1965 and 1966 as a linguist, fluent in Chinese. After spending 25 years in various management positions with the A. E. Staley Mfg. Co. I owned a shoe repair and retail shoe store for 12 years, closing in 2001. My first novel is Shepherd's Pie, the second book, Moon Over Chicago and the third Her Name Is Mommy published by Wings ePress. Just out in July 2010 from L&L Dreamspell is Smudge.
Favorite books	Too many to name and even too many author favorites to name. Let's just say I love to read.
