Introduction	I am the future wife of a police sgt. And yes, it's a job like none other. Every time the man you love slings a bullet-proof vest over his shoulder, grabs a glock and kisses you goodbye at night, you hold your breath that the night is calm and he will walk through the door the next morning with nothing but a sigh of relief that all is well and maybe a few very hard to imagine stories. Together we have 6 children -- ages 10-20... and will be married in Mexico on 8/8/08. Lots of "8's" in our life. But so far they haven't won us millions.
