| Introduction | I am 5'10", college educated; Although I am an only child, my mother never had time to spoil me. I do like what I like, but I am open to learning about other things and people. I am somewhat a picky eater. I have tried SEVERAL times to go vegetarian and/or vegan. (Still working on that...not easy.) I am married to an awesome guy, one day I'll show y'all a picture; (and yes he's tall too...6'4" of pure dark chocolatieness mmm-hmmmm)! We don't have any children, at least not the two-legged kind. We do have two four-legged children, American Cocker Spaniels. They are GORGEOUS, if I do say so myself. I find myself to be very blessed. |
| Interests | Hair; Makeup; Fashion; Shoes...Shoes...and More Shoes O.K. for the not-so-shallow things: Volunteerism for Diabetes; Feeding the Hungry; anyway I am able I really enjoy helping those less fortunate than me. I really love working with children. Children are SO honest. |
| Favorite Movies | Mahogany is my ALL-TIME favorite. (It's not because I've been told all my life I look like the main character either). I have others, but too much to mention. I like Sci-Fi, Comedy, Suspense and a few chick flicks.I am now in love with Avatar. If you haven't seen it...go & make sure you see it in 3-D. |
| Favorite Music | I'll listen to anything at least once...my favorite is the oldies, and I'm talking back when Motown was REALLY happenin'. Rhythm and Blues, Soul, Funk, Disco, Neo-soul, Jazz, some blues, Reggae, some Punk, Modern Pop, Classical, Country Music, etc. |
| Favorite Books | It's probably better for me to name authors and a few genres. I LOVE LOVE E. Lynn Harris. I've read all of his books. I like Jen Lancaster, Roslyn McMillan, Terry McMillan, Jackie Collins, Zane... I LOVE fitness magazines. I LOVE LOVE LOVE cookbooks. Currently reading a book a co-worker provided me titled, The Wednesday Letters, so far so good. |
