Introduction	I'm a wife, mother and grandmother and a proud American. I cherish the liberties that our military men and women have given us. It's because of them I can do the things I love. I've been interested in the Civil War since childhood having been born in Virginia. Having previously been a professional genealogist for sixteen years I've learned a lot about the different US wars and the those who fought in them. My husband, a Vietnam Veteran, has taught me more about that war then books ever could. His struggle with PTSD and the veterans I've met are my reason for starting Dog Tags And Combat Boots. I didn't understand PTSD until two years ago, even though I lived with it for 41 years. What I've learned and gone through and the wonderful people I've met, made me want to create something that would make those active duty military, veterans and their families smile. My mother taught me that making people smile is one of the greatest gifts you can be given. I hope my greeting cards do just that.
