| Introduction | I'm probably older than most people who like to blog - but my kids got me into it. I've always liked to think of myself as first and foremost a really good Mom, but now that my kids are grown and almost completely independent I'm kind of going through a bit of an identity crisis..... I'm in transistion I guess and it's kind of confusing. Hard when you work all your life to accomplish some specific goal (like raising your kids) and then all of a sudden it's accomplished and you don't know what you're suppossed to do next. I always thought all that "empty nest" stuff was bullshit - but.......... it's not that I'm sad to see my kids go off out into the world - that's what they're suppossed to do - it's just that......... I guess I need some inspiration. What will I do now? Who am I? Who do I want to be? |

| Favorite movies | It's a Wonderful Life, Midnight Express, Dances with Wolves, Starman, are a few that come to mind. |
| Favorite music | INXS, Enya, U2, I like a lot of stuff - I'm very eclectic |
| Favorite books | Fluffy romantic novels - especially ones set in the past, or featuring time travel |
