| Introduction | I have been referred to by several people as being "just like Martha, but with out the attitude." While I'm not quite sure that I measure up to that standard, I do love doing and making things myself and from scratch. I started quilting in 2001 and was totally in love from the first slice of my rotary cutter. I sew almost every day, if I can help it. I make quilts on commission that provide a unique and personal gift to loved ones. I also love to cook, garden, paint and have friends and family over for get-togethers. I'm married, live in the NW suburbs of Chicago, and have wonderful dogs which are all rescue animals. I have a special knack with neurotic dogs in particular. I also work full time at a major corporation in the area. Why the name "Accio Fabric"? Accio is the spell used in the Harry Potter Series to summon things to the person casting the spell. If I could summon anything I wanted to, at will, it would be fabric! Bugglet is our name of endearment for our female Husky, Bug. |
