| Introduction | I am a former fundamentalist Christian (noninstitutional Church of Christ), who somewhat unexpectedly started to critically examine the Bible after I became an adult. Up to that time I had only looked for reasons to believe the message of the Bible and had never thought much about it. It was just something I was born into and never really questioned. But once I started to honestly look at the Bible rather than only look for reasons to believe it, things would never be the same. |
