| Introduction | I was using the name Knitknut but have found out someone else uses it already so have changed to Elli Kirk. (Turkish numbers)Grew up in Victoria, attended Croydon State School, Box Hill Girls Tech, Swinburne Tech doing Art, was a commercial artist, at 40 did a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Tas Uni and qualified as a teacher.My favourite possessions are my spinning wheels, especially the Ettrick, and the 4 shaft Dryad floor loom. The electric kiln may never be used by me again, no more porcelain, I prefer working with fibre.I love my computer and I'm spending far too much time on it.My dog Susie is a lively Australian terrier who came to me via the Dogs Home 2 1/2 years ago. We are alike in temperament. |
