| Introduction | Hi, I'm Sheila! I was born in Victoria, British Columbia and have lived in Colorado, USA and currently live in Ottawa, Ontario. I've just finished my 3rd year of nursing. I have been a part of the QHO Kenya project for the past 3 years, first as a committee volunteer and now as a peer educator. I have been involved with HIV/AIDS education and awareness since high school. Health teaching is one of my favorite parts of nursing, so I am excited to have the opportunity this summer to work with the other QHO/YESS members to both promote HIV/AIDS awareness and teaching about health related topics! My other interests include traveling, reading, horseback riding and being outside. I can't wait for this year's project to get started! |
