About me

Location Des Moines, Iowa, United States
Introduction Hey, readers! Welcome to my blog :) My name is Meagan and my days at Drake are numbered. I entered as a freshman in fall of 2006 and in the blink of an eye I somehow became a senior, excited and terrified to march into the unknown. Anyway, I'm double majoring in magazine journalism and English. I never changed my major, so I guess you can say I enjoyed it. Right now you'll notice my blog is a daily journal of my last 100 days of school. It's a unique and kind of difficult project, but interesting, I think, to see how much changes in a short amount of time. My whole four years is right here on this blog, so poke around, find out about Michael J. Fox's visit, the hot men's bball team from two years ago, the 100th Drake Relays, and miscellaneous day-to-day insights from a student. If you're a prospective student or have questions or whatever, shoot me an email. I'd love to talk to you! :)

When you hesitate before hitting snooze on your alarm clock, are you being lazy?

I don't think the part where I hesitate is me being lazy. I think me hitting the snooze is being lazy. But I don't usually have to hit the snooze. I can bounce right out of bed. That's a lie. I don't bounce. I begrugingly drag myself across the room, leaving a trail of blankets behind me on my way to the bathroom.
