| Introduction | Thirteen years ago, the pesticide residues in the food chain had me raging and thinking. Why do I need toxic foods? And, who has given any one the permission to mess with my food! A conscious decision taken to shift from the corporate world to becoming a self-contained organic farmer. I advocate and practice low cost sustainable farming techniques by applying organic principles. I grow my own food and encourage others to take charge, and not leave the reigns of their life to the dictats of the refined processed industry! At Ishana farms - we, a commune of 18 farmers reap an abundance of rich nutritious and aromatic harvests both for seed and food production combined with good health. Just try it, farming is no rocket science, if I can do it, so can you! With neither a science nor agriculture background but armed with oodles of energy to understand the source of chemical free foods, I have everything to gain and nothing to lose!!! Just, take that leap of faith and treat yourself fair. |
