| Introduction | Rev. Rebecca K. Turner has been Executive Director of the Missouri Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice since 2001. The MORCRC program areas (Clergy for Choice, Public Policy, Community Education, and Spiritual Youth for Reproductive Freedom) work together to mobilize religious communities in Missouri to support and defend reproductive freedom in the Missouri legislature and the public arena. A native of Richmond, Missouri, Turner is a minister of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Her work has been featured in Time Magazine, on PBS "Religion and Ethics Newsweekly", on CNN "Anderson Cooper 360", in the documentary "Beyond the Politics of Life and Choice", and in newspaper and web stories around the United States. |
