| Introduction | I'm a (mostly) native Portlander with a passion for writing, photography, and adoption related issues. My background is in communications, PR, and marketing, but I am leaving that behind to pursue my interesting in education; I'm working on my masters degree to become a licensed school counselor. [Though I still freelance write, and I am (very slowly) still working on a novel.] Life is funny, and full of ups (flowers) and downs (weeds). Without both, life would be pretty boring. The point of my blog is to focus on the everyday wonders of adoption and being a transracial adoptive parent of two (a girl and a boy). My hope is to educate, inspire, and help people think of adoption from a variety of perspectives. |
