Introduction	A rambling of my thoughts on life - well my life that is on foreign lands and how I find comfort and release through cooking. My taste for food is I guess colourful. I am originally from Bali, lived for years in Australia and now just starting a new life in Germany. I love spicy food but at the same time I find myself craving for sushi, sashimi and Korean kimchi and go crazy for cheeses. I love getting stuck into cooking and find reading cook books entertaining. Cooking for me is kind of relaxing. I can knead, punch, chop, stir, fry, and bake my frustration and those evil thoughts raging in my head. But mostly I find my creativity in the kitchen. I am delighted by the beautiful cakes, breads, curries, cookies and many delicious heavenly smelling food that can be created even by the most basic of ingredients. I am not an expert in cooking nor a gourmet home cook. This blog will be (as I have tried to do - but obviously failed- since a couple of years) to be a place with a bit of me and of being Kadek. Now with a bit more time on my hands, being Hausfrau and all, I hope I can maintain a regularity.
