| Introduction | One of the few jokes (the second, if truth be told) I'm able to remember in this world is one that made me laugh out loud when I first heard it and to which, ultimately, I 'assigned' my ex-husband as the subject... How many [ex-husbands] does it take to change a lightbulb...? One. He holds it and the rest of the world revolves around him. We all have those moments (or total mind-sets!) that we, subconsciously or not, no matter how well adjusted or enlightened we are, feel we are the center, the be-all-and-end-all, of the universe... I've often daydreamed about trying my hand at writing a book; putting my all-knowing, all-seeing views, thoughts, and/or ramblings into written form to "school" those what need schooling... (hello... universe... me calling...) But even in my universe I'm much too much an instant-gratification kind of gal and writing a book is... ::sigh:: a lengthy endeavor. Then a blogging friend encouraged me to try it (blogging, that is)... And the more I thought about it... well... hello instant gratification, and welcome to the universe that's revolving around me... |
