Introduction	I named my blog "A Southern Sanctuary" because I have always thought of my home as a haven against the outside world. I want it to be a place where one can feel welcome and protected. A place free from stress, dishonesty, worldliness and predjudice. To us, our home is truly a place to be yourself, to relax, to put your feet up, get a snack from the refrigerator, welcome friends, praise our Heavenly Father and full of love for one another. It doesn't necessarily have to be a palace or a southern mansion. It is our little piece of heaven that we have made and enjoy. A sanctuary from outside forces - a place we can call 'Home".
Interests	Blogging, Working on the computer, taking pictures, painting, reading, cooking, making my home pretty.
Favorite movies	I really do love romantic comedy's like Steel Magnolia's, Sweet Home Alabama, Fried Green Tomatoes, The Notebook, etc.
Favorite music	I love Southern and Gospel Music, and country music.
Favorite books	My Bible and how-to books
