Introduction	My name is Derek Owens and I am a 24 year old student at IUPUI. I am majoring in Secondary Education for Social Studies. My goal is to become a high school teacher and eventually become head coach of a high school varsity baseball team. I played baseball my whole life, including four years for Noblesville High School. I also was an assistant coach for the 8th grade boys Noblesville baseball team this past season. I am the youngest child in my family; I have one older sister, Angei. I also have two young nephews, Remy (6 years old) and Cyan (4 years old). I have an American Bulldog named Rogue. I am a huge sports fan, and enjoy playing them recreationally in my free time. My favorite teams are the New York Mets and St. Louis Rams. I enjoy all types of music, but mostly classic and alternative rock. My favorite TV shows are Entourage, Always Sunny, Eastbound & Down, and Boardwalk Empire.
